Limited Warranty
Thank you for your interest in the 2E Design lighting fixtures. This limited warranty is subject to the 2E Design Terms of Service, available at Terms (the “Terms”), and this warranty is incorporated by reference into such Terms of Service. All capitalized terms not defined herein have the same meaning as in the Terms.
This Limited Warranty applies to Products, purchased from 2E Design, only if such Product is identified as being provided subject to a limited warranty as further set out on the Website. If the Website does not indicate that this limited warranty applies to a Product, then no warranty applies to that Product and that Product is not a Warrantied Product, the limitations on liability in respect to that product in our Terms apply. Please note this limited warranty covers only the original purchaser of the product. The limited warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners or purchasers of this product.
What does this limited warranty cover?
This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, 2E Design will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a Warrantied Product that proves defective because of faulty material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
What will we do to correct problems?
2E Design will either repair the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts or replace products subject to inspection, when repair is not an available option. Client will be responsible for the costs of shipping the returned item to and from our facility.
How long does the coverage last?
The Warranty Period for lighting fixtures purchased from 2E Design is 1 Year from the date of purchase. A replacement Product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original Product commencing on the date the replacement Product is provided to you.
What does this limited warranty NOT cover?
This Limited Warranty does NOT cover:
- any problem that is caused by conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship
- costs associated with removal and reinstallation of the product
- scratches, abrasions, or deterioration due to the use of paints, solvents, chemicals or abrasive cleaning techniques
- any damage caused by the owner modifying, attempting to fix, or otherwise altering the product
- naturally occurring variations in finish and appearance of lighting fixtures installed outdoors. Differences in grain, character and color due to exposure to environmental elements is not within the control of the 2E Design and will not be covered under warranty.
- used for purposes for which they are not designed or intended;
- which have been used in violation of written instructions provided by 2E Design;
- which have been subjected to improper temperature, humidity or other environmental conditions;

Limited Liability
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT, SAVE AS SET OUT ABOVE:
A. THE WARRANTIED PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, 2E DESIGN HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL CONDITIONS OR WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER, WHETHER STATUTORY, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE WEBSITE OR SUCH WARRANTIED PRODUCTS. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FORGOING, SUCH WARRANTIED PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT STATUTORY, IMPLIED, OR EXPRESS WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY, CURRENCY, RELIABILITY, EFFECTIVENESS, USABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
B. ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING IN ANY WAY TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, MUST BE COMMENCED IN ARBITRATION IN THE MANNER SET OUT IN THE TERMS WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES. AFTER THAT ONE (1)-YEAR PERIOD, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.
C. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL 2E DESIGN OR ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, JOINT VENTURES, LICENSORS (EXCEPT OTHER USERS), AGENTS, AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS, ASSIGNS, OR SUBSIDIARIES (COLLECTIVELY, THE “REPRESENTATIVES”) BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR OR RELATED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, USE, DATA LOSS, PERSONAL INJURY, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, DAMAGE TO REPUTATION, COMMERCIAL LOSS, FINANCIAL LOSS, OR ECONOMIC LOSS, OR INTANGIBLE LOSSES, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR ANY OTHER THEORY OR BASIS OF LIABILITY. THE FOREGOING LIMITATION SHALL APPLY EVEN IF 2E DESIGN, OR 2E DESIGN’S REPRESENTATIVES, HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
D. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, IN NO EVENT WILL 2E DESIGN BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIMS, DAMAGES, EXPENSES OR LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY CAUSES BEYOND 2E DESIGN CONTROL, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES DUE TO LIGHTING PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN MISUSED, ALTERED, IMPROPERLY INSTALLED, ABUSED (INCLUDING SHIPPING), NEGLECTED, IMPROPERLY MAINTAINED, OR SUBJECTED TO POWER SURGES OR INCLEMENT CONDITIONS. THESE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY SHALL SURVIVE THE FAILURE OF ANY EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES.
